Monday’s are always a bit rough, but mine was made better today when I came home to find that my September Popsugar Must-Have Box had arrived!
I have always had a bit of a thing for subscription boxes – its basically like sending yourself a gift every month (or every season, depending on the box!) The Popsugar box is great because it has a nice mix of beauty, fashion and lifestyle items. I also like that it has full-size products rather than just samples.
I was so excited to find this had arrived for me today that I decided to share with you guys what came in it, and give a little review in case you’re in the market to treat yo self (NOTE: I purchased this box with my own money and this post is not sponsored).
September Popsugar Must-Have Box
1. Don’t Despair, Repair! Deep Conditioning Mask by Briogeo
The first thing I saw in my box this month was this deep conditioning mask by Briogeo. I was SO excited when I saw this, because I have been wanting (aka NEEDING) a deep conditioner for months now, but have been procrastinating on buying one (that stuff is expensive, amirite?!) I’m so excited to try this stuff out!
2. Jack & Lucy Wide Brim Hat
My boyfriend was just making fun of me last week because I told him I wanted a hat like this. I am pleased to say that when I tried it on for him today, he said it looked “cute.” The hat is made of a nice, sturdy material and is actually quite warm. It’s a little big for me, but I love the style and will definitely be packing it when I travel to Europe in February!
3. MANI-ER Tool Kit
This one is something I probably won’t use all that often, but it is a cute concept for someone who likes doing their nails! Whenever I paint mine, they seem to chip immediately, and then I find myself just chipping it off out of boredom… so needless to say my nails are rarely painted. The kit is super small and compact, and would be so easy to throw in a purse or take with you on a trip!
4. Lint Roller by Flint
This I LOVE. Is it weird that I was probably most excited about this?! (Is this what adulthood is like?) Anyway, this thing is awesome. It’s pretty small, can easily be tossed in a purse, and is actually CUTE. I know I’ll use this enough to make up for the fact that I won’t use the manicure kit.
5. Smith & Cult Lip Lacquer
This stuff has the cutest packaging, and is a very bright shade of red that I will probably reserve for special occasions. I have a couple of weddings coming up in October, so maybe I’ll break this bad boy out then!
6. The Gluten Free Bites
I tried one of these as I was writing this post, and I have to say it was surprisingly delicious. Not my favorite thing ever, but considering how healthy they are I definitely can’t complain.
Total Retail Value: $147
Popsugar Must-Have Cost: $39.95 + tax/shipping
Overall, I really liked this months box! I will definitely use and love a majority of the products, and I definitely feel like I got my money’s worth. If you’re interested in trying out the Popsugar Must-Have Box, you can do so here!
